REGISTRATION

• Must be enrolled in 4-H by April 1st @ 5pm.  NO ENROLLMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE!  FFA exhibitors must be enrolled in an agriculture class in the current school year AND must register directly with Mrs. Giles or Mr. McCormick.

TAGGING FOR MORGAN COUNTY JR. LIVESTOCK SHOW AND SALE

• Beef: April 7, 2026, 5:30 pm Morgan County Fairgrounds

• Beef: April 9, 2026, 5:30 pm Morgan County Fairgrounds

• Hogs: April 11, 2026, 8:00-10:00 am Morgan County Fairgrounds

SPRING SHOW REGISTRATION

• Registration is due by Friday, May 1st @ 6pm through our new website. (More details to come.) You will need to upload your Bill of Sale and pay $5 per tag in order to register.

• ·         Beef weigh-in for Morgan County exhibitors: 5:30-6:30 PM

• ·         Beef weigh-in for out-of-county exhibitors: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM

• ·         Beef Showmanship followed by Beef Quality: Begins at 8:30 AM

• ·         Goat weigh-in for all exhibitors: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• ·         Goat Showmanship followed by Goat Quality: Starts at 12:30 PM

• ·         Hog weigh-in: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

• ·         Hog Showmanship followed by Hog Quality: Begins at 5:30 PM

CARCASS CLASSES

• Must attend one (1) class to qualify to participate in the carcass contest

FAIR WEEK

• July 29th - Hog Weigh-in 5-7 pm

• July 30th - Hog Showmanship followed by Quality 8 am

• July 30th - Beef Weigh-in 1-2 pm

• July 30th- Carcass Contest ALL SPECIES

• July 31st  - Beef Showmanship followed by Quality 10 am

• August 1st - SALE DAY 10 am

PORTFOLIOS, FFA RECORD BOOKS AND THANK YOU NOTES

• August 21st @ 10 am - must be turned in and accepted with a red ribbon grade or higher

• August 22nd through September 29th - portfolios and record books handed in during this period will have a $50 late fee taken out of your livestock check.

• September 28th or after - exhibitors handing in portfolios or FFA record books during this period will become ineligible to show the following year.

THANK YOU NOTES

• September 1st @ 5pm - ALL Thank You Cards must be turned in by this date.  Exhibitors who turn in their cards after this date will have a late fee of $50 deducted from their check.

CASHING CHECKS

• ALL checks must be picked up and cashed by December 31st.  Checks not cashed by December 31st will be forfeited and all monies will be relinquished to the Morgan County Jr. Livestock account.
